Writing Expository Writing

Students will learn how to explain their thinking through using a 5 paragraph model which helps them state an opinion and back it up with examples. This prepares them for the District Writing Assessment which occurs in January.


Narrative Writing

Students will learn how to construct stories by developing characters with some problem that needs to be solved.

Why Writing?

A very important part of the WASL is explaining one's thinking in writing.
